The Bayer Group's representative office was established in Serbia in 1997. As in the rest of the world, Bayer operates in the field of Life Sciences in Serbia. With over 70 employees, Bayer in Serbia holds a leading position in key areas of pharmaceuticals and agriculture. Caring for people's health, as well as investing in the development of domestic agriculture, are Bayer's main goals in Serbia.
Through responsible business practices, Bayer contributes to the improvement of the healthcare system and agriculture in our country. As a recognizable brand, Bayer is an integral part of the domestic pharmaceutical industry and agricultural production.
With the quality of its products and services, Bayer is at the very top of the market offering in our country. All three Bayer divisions operate in Serbia - Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Health, and Crop Science.

Donations
Bayer strives worldwide to address the needs of society, in line with our corporate motto "Science for a better life" and vision "Health for all, hunger for none." Policies for granting donations and managing them across the entire group ensure that donations and grants for charitable purposes are allocated in a targeted and appropriate manner, consistent with our strategic focus on science and health/nutrition.
Donations can be granted to non-governmental organizations, universities, schools, and other institutions whose projects contribute to developing solutions for challenges outlined in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as well as our focus areas, namely science, health, or nutrition. Generally speaking, donations can only be directed to recipients registered as non-profit organizations and organizations eligible for tax recognition under local regulations.
