Innovation & Solution
At Bayer, innovation goes beyond the laboratory. Through research, collaboration, and a culture that encourages new ideas, we develop solutions that help improve lives and address society’s most pressing challenges.
At Bayer, innovation is part of our DNA. However, it is not just something that happens in the laboratory. Innovation occurs when we use different approaches and open perspectives. Our work culture is driven by the spirit and desire to think ahead. That is why we encourage you to question the status quo and continuously think bigger. It takes imagination, ambition, and courage to tackle the pressing big questions of the world's population.
You can engage and learn through research and development as well as employee-driven initiatives to support progress and innovation, something that Bayer is known for. Every employee's initiative holds significant value for the company's progress and the continuous process of innovation.
Research and Development at Bayer
The researchers working in Bayer's research and development department have one goal: to improve people's quality of life. The innovations developed in our laboratories include health products to save humans and animals, as well as chemical and biological products to enhance agricultural quality.
Strengthening the Culture of Innovation
None of us is as smart as all of us together. That’s why Bayer develop We Solve, an internal cross-subgroup marketplace for collaborative problem solving where an employee (Challenge owner) posts a Challenge and the entire community of Bayer employees (Solvers) is enabled to solve it. This Group wide initiative aims to leverage the global knowledge from all employees, promoting innovative solutions to solve complex challenges.
Combining our knowledge and ingenuity ensures that our most innovative ideas will be heard and put to use by our customers and society.
The Bayer Employee Survey
The Bayer Employee Survey is intended to empower employee involvement in the company and inspire innovation in all areas. Every year, all employees are invited to give us their feedback on our strategy, culture, and working conditions.
The opinions expressed in the survey are very important to Bayer and we have launched a variety of initiatives and improvements worldwide in response to the survey results.
