The Wageningen site is the largest worldwide in terms of the number of crops in which breeding takes place. They are all open field vegetables such as cauliflower, broccoli, spinach, beans, pickle, carrot, leek and onions. The office building was opened in 2005. The location has 2,5 hectares of greenhouses and a large number of plastic tunnels and (spinach) isolations.
