Bayer And Long Chau Unite to Advance Stroke Prevention and Management at National Health Day 2026
HANOI, April 5, 2026 – Bayer Vietnam, in strategic partnership with FPT Long Châu Pharmacy Chain & Vaccination Center, took part in the National Health Day event at Thong Nhat Park, Hanoi. Organized under the leadership of the Ministry of Health, this landmark gathering underscores the government’s Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW on strengthening public health protection and care. More than a celebration, the event serves as a powerful platform to rally collective action and amplify the national message: “Active Prevention – For a Healthy Vietnam”.
National Health Day 2026 represents a nationwide call to prioritize proactive disease prevention and mobilize communities to embrace healthier lifestyles through sustained behavioral change and regular physical activity. Beyond its immediate impact, the event reaffirms Vietnam’s commitment to global health priorities by aligning with the World Health Organization’s 2026 World Health Day theme, “Global Action for Universal Health Coverage”. This commitment highlights the country’s determination to ensure that every citizen has equitable access to quality and sustainable healthcare services.
Within the framework of the event, the Bayer–Long Châu booth showcased a series of high‑impact activities dedicated to stroke prevention and management. Visitors were offered complimentary clinical screenings, including blood lipid, blood glucose, and atrial fibrillation tests, providing immediate risk assessments. Those identified as high‑risk received direct consultations with medical expert to better understand their health status and preventive options. To make medical information more accessible, the booth also featured interactive “Stroke Knowledge Challenges” and gamified learning activities, ensuring the message of active prevention was both engaging and memorable for the community.
The presence of Bayer and Long Châu at this national event further reinforces their pioneering role in the five‑year strategic program “Strengthening Prevention, Early Detection, and Risk Management of Stroke in Vietnam 2026–2030”, implemented under the direction and coordination of the Vietnam Administration of Disease Prevention, Ministry of Health. This public‑private partnership model optimizes resources, enhances community awareness, and strengthens healthcare professional capacity, contributing to comprehensive public health protection.
