- People & Culture
Our culture creates common ground
Bayer in Canada gives job seekers the opportunity to learn what it means to work here through employee stories and experiences. These stories help candidates understand the people, values, and work environment they may be joining.
Canada's Most Admired Corporate Culture
Bayer Canada is honoured to be recognized with several corporate awards such as Canada’s Most Admired™ Corporate Cultures. Awarded by Waterstone Human Capital, the annual list recognizes best-in-class Canadian organizations for fostering high-performance corporate cultures that help sustain a competitive advantage. We also have been awarded Canada’s Top 100 Employers and Canada’s Top Youth Employer.
Hybrid flexible work model
Our shift to a hybrid work model is a unique opportunity to transform our ways of working and reimagine the workplace. In Canada, all office-based employees work from the office a minimum of two days a week. The remaining days they may work from home or the office. The two in-office days are determined by your team/business area to optimize collaboration.
Diversity and Inclusion
Bayer’s Canadian Advisory Council for Inclusion & Diversity (CACID) mission is to be the catalyst and the voice of revolutionary change for everyone so that they are valued and welcomed as their authentic selves. CACID acts as a bridge between the Country Leadership Team (CLT), Business Resource Groups (BRGs), corporate Diversity and Inclusion (D+I) initiatives and employees. Our six BRGs (Business Resource Group) use CACID as a platform to connect and elevate important intersectional topics for the organization. BLEND: BRG for LGBTQ+ and allies. BUILD: BRG focusing on advocating and improving the experience of our black colleagues. GROW: BRG that advocates for women’s advancement. MERGE: BRG for multigenerational employee exchange. ENABLE: BRG supporting people with disabilities, caregivers, and allies. RIVER: BRG focusing on increasing knowledge and awareness of Canada’s Indigenous Peoples and history.
